The last release CU11-2024 of BPA Apps has been published! If you’re not yet on CU11-2024, please make sure to upgrade your app package to the last published CU in the community portal and request your SharePoint administrator to perform this update.

Listed below are the new features available (included in your subscription). To access each release details, please check the release notes in the community portal.

  • We introduced a new feature to use eSignature on folders and protect documents inside a folder. This is a great feature when managing technical files in folders.
  • BPA eSignature further supports OKTA in addition to Microsoft Multifactor Authentication.
  • An option has been added to open links on embed popup within Master-Details and Data Viewers. This is a great feature to view related information in a separate page, without losing the current context.
  • Teams Productivity goes a step further towards instant productivity. It’s now possible to forward a Teams Productivity card to a person or channel in a Teams discussion. This allows you to better interact with the QMS while discussing with your colleagues on Teams and avoiding inefficient email-driven exchanges.
  • We introduced the Webhooks technology to replace remote event receivers (recommended by Microsoft). Webhooks are used for eSignatures and field replications.
