A brief stroll through BPA Solutions’ history
With 135 million monthly active users, Microsoft has the largest user base for office productivity. For the past 35 years, Microsoft has converted users to their software solutions for word processing, spreadsheets, messaging and collaboration with SharePoint. Nowadays, using Microsoft Office solutions has become part of our daily life.
Before BPA’s foundation, our CEO Dr. Boris Lutz was a quality consultant. Strong of this consulting experience, we learned how customer centricity is pivotal, and this is why it is one of the main pillars since BPA’s conception in 2001, with the simple mission of helping organizations digitizing their quality management system. Initially collaborating with several third party QMS software vendors, we mastered various technologies and were exposed to disparate implementation projects across various industries. This allowed us to gain extensive experience around client expectations and technology limitations.
Having a customer-centric approach always guided us to successful implementations. However, when software and technology present limitations, you cannot ensure complete client satisfaction. For this reason, we decided to develop our own QMS solutions and selected Microsoft SharePoint as the underlying technology, bringing agility, scalability and robustness essential to our clients. Since then, we have been developing QMS platforms across 5 SharePoint on-premises generations (2007-2019) prior moving to the Microsoft 365 cloud, leveraging the best of our existing tools and designing new QMS solutions from scratch with the latest Microsoft cloud development technologies.
In the early 2000, salesforce.com trusted us to be their first partner in Switzerland and unveiled the vast benefits of cloud-based software solutions. Since then, it was clear to us that users would welcome our solutions, without the need of maintaining any inhouse infrastructure.
Today, with M365 and our actual QMS platforms, we are proud to deliver our clients the best products ever developed by BPA, combining Microsoft technologies, GenAI, Teams and Power Automate with highly performing and agile Quality Management modules and extensions.

We started early on investigating what GenAI could bring to our clients in the context of quality management. Directly benefiting from Microsoft technologies and OpenAI, we could integrate ChatGPT in our platform with less effort and way before other providers. Now we are fully ready to strengthen our clients’ competitive edge by implementing game-changing AI use cases that will make a significant difference and drastically increase overall business performance.
Over these last 2 decades of QMS project implementation experience with different tools and technologies, we were able to optimize our products to achieve unlimited flexibility, engage everyone in the QMS, and bring a significant positive impact to the whole organization.
